The Tummy Lifter

It’s called “The Tummy Lifter” because of the feeling you get in your stomach when you go on rides like this. I used to be terrified of this attraction, but now I actually enjoy it. These rides have also been called things like “The Drop Tower” or “Free Fall”, but I kinda think “The Tummy Lifter” has a nice ring to it. Most amusement parks have one, and now my Lego Amusement Park does too.

Bumper Cars

I put this in the Lego Amusement Park so that park visitors could let out their rage on one another. It is a very popular ride. I mean, who doesn’t like smashing into complete strangers? I used different colors of tiles, including Dobby’s sock, to make it more colorful. I actually used very little grey and black at all. I put most of my most famous minifigures on the Bumper Cars, since it’s my favorite attraction.  You can find Dumbledore, Jack Sparrow, a clonetrooper, Elrond, and more.

The Spinny Turny

The Spinny Turny is like the Spinny Spinny (posted on April 5th) only it moves from side to side, jerking the passengers each way, instead of just spinning around in circles. Similar rides have been invented, but none of them are exactly like this one. It is one of the most popular rides at my Lego amusement park and, sadly, always has a very long line.

The Pirate Ship

Ah, the Pirate Ship…what would we do without you? Almost every amusement park has one, even if it is called something different like “The Viking Ship”, or “The Mayflower”, or even “Glove Boat” (from Spongebob’s “Glove World”). The first Pirate Ship was made in 1893 in Oklahoma and it was called “The Ocean Wave”. People have been riding The Pirate Ship since the dawn of time; it only fits that the amusement park for Lego people should have one.  My version of the Pirate Ship really swings to make it more like the real thing.

Spinny Spinny Ride

This ride just makes you spin around in circles and makes people barf 27.55% more than the famous “Amusement Park Ride #1” (see my post on April 4th). Oh yeah, score one for the Spinny Spinny! Many great people have been on this ride including Superman and Lex Luthor. Strangely enough, the two of them happened to be riding the Spinny Spinny at the same time, which is ironic since they are enemies.

The Zip-line

This high-speed, not-so-safe ride actually works. The Zip-line goes all across my amusement  park; well, that is, if you can hold on the whole time. You go over the obstacle course, the pool, the movie theater, and end on the beach. So you also get a good view (especially when going over the movie theater as they are playing The Avengers).

Lego amusement park ride #1

I have already talked about my Lego amusement park a lot, and this is one of the rides. This ride is designed to give you a sense of thrill (and make you throw up). It spins around in circles super fast and, meanwhile, water sprays at you from the sides getting you soaked. Yay! I made this ride mostly just because I needed something to fill my water baseplate, but it also looks kind of like something that would be in a real amusement park. As you can see, it is a bit too scary for some people, as one man in front looks like he wants to cry.
